This Crossover Series Bundle comes with the Double Burner Firebox, powered by 2 x 15,000 BTU burners and works as a stand alone stove, and the Grill, Plancha, and Pizza Oven Tops. All 4 are made with 304 brushed stainless steel and cast aluminum components except the Plancha, which is oil coated steel. The non-corrosive, cast aluminum base on the Grill and Pizza Top prevents heat distortion to maintain a perfect fit with the Firebox. The Grill includes a unique diffuser plate to provide even heat across the entire cooking surface, funnels grease away from the burner into the Firebox grease containment system, and helps maintain temperature and control smoke. The lid includes a thermometer and locks into place for easy transport. The Pizza Oven has a curved upper inner liner to melt all the delicious pizza toppings and a pizza stone for a crispy crust. I was in the market for a new grill solely for use at home. I didn’t want something big and bulky but was seeking versatility. The crossover series with its modular system and the double burner bundle effectively and efficiently provided three-in-one cooking capability including a traditional grill, a griddle for veggies, quick searing of seafood, etc. and even a pizza oven. The components are easy to change, and the quad pod provides a ready and stable platform to house the unit. There is a foldout food preparation shelf on each side of the unit with built-in cutting boards that are easily removed for cleaning. The firebox may also be used alone as a stove top for use with pots or pans placed directly on the cooking grate. I did purchase a large universal cover, to protect the whole setup, as this replaced my old traditional propane grill for permanent back yard use. I couldn’t be more pleased with the product, as it delivers and cooks as advertised!
